It's all open source. It's built on the joomla framework, using all open source components adapted to fulfill the needs of a car portal. I will give you the full source and the database. I scraped the make and model database from cars.com and basically tried to incorporate the best features of cars.com into this auto portal.
As far as instructions are concerned. You should log in to www.acoolsip.com/autoportal/ by clicking the log in button at the top left of the page using the following credentials:
username: client1
password: client1
After you have logged in you can begin adding vehicles to the database. I just checked the credits allocated to client1 and he has 85 credits which should be plenty for you to add vehicles.
The way the credit system works is:
Users will purchase credits through paypal and once the payment is completed, their account will be credited according to how much they pay. If you have a paypal sandbox account, the autoportal payment system is currently running in sandbox mode and you can simulate a purchase.
After that, you I would recommend exploring the "Your Profile" link, which will showcase the community portion of the site.
The admin area of the site encompasses all this functionality as well for administrative tasks. The site also has wysiwyg editors and automatic scheduled back up functionality.

User Management
